I moved from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 2013 with my husband, David. Growing up with endless sun and heat, it’s amazing to experience four beautiful seasons with just the perfect amount of snow. We love our city and it’s our forever home.

In a sarcastic family, I am the weirdo with corny humor that loves puns. You'll rarely find me without a cup of coffee in hand as I juggle two bright, full of energy kids and our furry family, Red Dog, Brady the GOAT golden retriever(yes that namesake is Tom), Bucky the fat, rodent murdering cat and Petey the cutest tuxedo kitten around. Prosecco, cookies and milk or ice cream are my indulgences after a long day. I love binge watching Gilmore Girls and Smallville while I edit photos for endless hours. I typically can get through 6-8 seasons during busy season! I am a night owl through and through and have done everything I could to change that, but I am who I am, and that’s someone who reads fantasy and love stories till 12am and guzzles coffee to make it through the day.  

David and I own a few businesses around town, including Sunnyside Millwork, Lynnwood Builders and Easy Tiger Beer Garden. We have been in the small business/entrepreneurial world for a decade and wouldn’t change a thing. A few of my favorite things to do with my family in Winston include going to Salem Lake, Pilot Mountain, Mission Pizza, Sayso Coffee and Easy Tiger Beer Garden. We love meeting other business owners and new friends, so if you see us around, come say hello!
